Fatal Boynton Beach collision
F.H.P. is searching for the person or vehicle responsible for a chain collision on Interstate 95 near Boynton Beach on April 24, 2009. One person died at the scene. According to investigators, the driver of a silver vehicle changed lanes improperly late Thursday afternoon. As a result, the victim lost control of his sport utility vehicle, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene near Woolbright Road. Two of the deceased’s passengers were rushed to Bethesda Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of a third car swerved to avoid the accident and struck a metal pole. She is expected to be fine.
