Fort Lauderdale man charged with fatal auto accident in Boca Raton
A Fort Lauderdale man killed a woman in a hit-and-run accident in Boca Raton last month. The 68 year old man was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death. Other charges may also be filed.
Police said the driver of a 2003 red Ford Explorer hit a 70 year old woman, then continued north in the 4000 block of North Federal Highway. The woman later died at the hospital.
Witness said the driver of the Ford Explorer ran over the pedestrian and continued driving. He was driving with a suspended driver's license.
