9 year old struck by vehicle while waiting for school bus
A car struck a 9-year-old Delray Beach boy on his way to school on Southwest Second Street and 11th Avenue, police said.
The 9 year old was standing on a grassy swale when a vehicle ran a stop sign and struck another vehicle which then spun out of control and hit the boy, police said.
The boy was rushed to Delray Medical Center and the extent of his injuries is unknown.
Both cars involved in this accident stopped at the scene. Both drivers were arrested as neither driver had a driver’s license. One of the vehicle’s tag was a fake.
