A Broward Sheriff’s Office detention deputy, 47, was heading home from the Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale but never made it. About two miles from his home, a driver of a speeding and out-of-control car heading west on Northwest 199th Avenue rear-ended the deputy’s green Toyota Corolla after hitting two other cars, Miami Gardens police said.”
