Two students injured in Coral Springs
Two separate accidents occurred in Coral Springs this past week which left two students injured. An 8-year-old girl was struck by an SUV while bicycling to school by an SUV. The student is expected to make a full recovery. No charges have been filed.
A 16-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street on his way to school. He is in serious condition. No charges have been filed. The student was apparently crossing the street without a walk signal. The oncoming motorist had a green light.
