Patrol Car Jumps Median
An investigation into a motor vehicle incident involving a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy whose patrol car jumped a median and collided with an oncoming minivan, killing its driver in a four-car crash, showed the deputy had been speeding. The deputy said he’d fallen asleep at the wheel following a night shift.
