Woman sentenced to prison in fatal Boynton Beach automobile crash
In November 2007, a 19 year old woman sped away in a stolen automobile after Boynton Beach police tried to pull her over. She then drove onto Interstate 95 and got off at the Gateway Boulevard exit, traveled southbound on Seacrest Boulevard. She then lost control and hit a concrete wall and wooden pole. The passenger in her vehicle, a 14 year old male, died as a result of this auto accident.
Yesterday, the woman was sentenced to nine years in prison and permanent revocation of her driver's license for attempting to elude or fleeing resulting in death or injury, grand theft with damage and driving with a valid driver's license causing death.
