Woman Saved From Burning Car Sued by Rescuers
An
Ohio
woman who was pulled from a burning SUV is being sued by the two men who rescued her, according to a lawsuit filed in
Marion County Common Pleas Court
this week.
The lawsuit was filed by David Kelley and Mark Kinkaid, who suffered serious injuries while rescuing Theresa Tanner from a March 2009 crash which they claim resulted from her own recklessness.
Tanner told police at the scene of the crash that she intentionally veered off the road after an argument with a friend earlier that day.
The two men are seeking damages of at least $25,000 each.
