A man in
Utah
has been indicted for peddling erectile dysfunction "supplements" that contain Viagra-like drugs, which have been linked to serious health risks.
Police arrested Kelly Dean Harvey for allegedly selling "dietary supplements" containing sulfoaildenafil without listing the dangerous Viagra-like drug on the label.
Sulfoaildenafil is among a class of drugs that has been linked to harmful side effects, such as heart attack and stroke.
The supplements, which were marketed under a variety of names including "Size Matters," "Natural Wow" and "OMG," were touted as 100 percent natural.
Had
Harvey
listed the drug on the label, the supplements would have been subject to regulation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
