West Palm Beach Tanker truck accident

The Palm Beach Post reported that a 22-year-old man without a driver's license has been arrested in the explosion of a fuel tanker truck on Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach which occurred on Monday. The tanker truck was carrying 8,000 gallons of gasoline from Fort Lauderdale when it struck a broken-down station wagon and then flipped. The accident killed the trucker's dog.

A station wagon occupant told investigators that he and another man ran from their broken-down station wagon when they saw the tanker truck barreling toward them. As they ran, the trucker tried to avoid striking the car but failed and sent the tank flipping into the wagon.
